See the animal we caught in my Village during lockdown, what is the name?

It i5s no longer news, that the Federal government of Nigeria imposed lockdown in Nigeria, in many major cities, this has led to many of us Leaving our jobs and business to stay at home to be safe,
during one of our free days, we noticed this strange animal in a nearby tree in our house and we decided to catch it, to keep us busy since we are bored, so one of us climbed and scared the animal which appeared very slow, but its grip is very tight, I don't really know if this animal is a kind of monkey species or rat specie, please kindly tell us what it is called, in my Village here, it is called ikiri, you can tell us the English, botanical and local name of this animal, it is fun and educative for us to know that this single animal might have over 200 local names in Nigeria alone, besides there are many of us here, who knows some animal's name but don't know what they really look like, we are likely to hear and know their names through adages and proverbs but don't know what they look like, since then I have been looking around to see if I will catch another animal, who knows what I might find next?
