The ongoing strike action by ASUU may likely be called off next week, as a result of recent breakthroughs in negotiation with the FG on some outstanding issues.
With the inauguration of Gov. Gabriel Suswam of Benue state as the chairman of d implementation committee of needs assessment reports to Nigerian universities hope has been found as he will act as d mediator between FG and ASUU.
As learnt from our reporters.... ASUU has made agreements with most of the matters on desk, except for earned allowances and universities funding for infrastructural developments.
On the side of government, the FG has said it will look into the two issues and hopefully resolve them by next week:
Another meeting has been scheduled to hold on Monday 29th of July.
